Privacy
The short version: no cookies, no tracking, and we only keep what we need.
Who we are
Revamp This, a business based in British Columbia, Canada. Write to us with our contact form, or email [email protected].
If you visit this site
This site sets no cookies and runs no tracking or analytics scripts. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps ordinary server records, such as your IP address, for a short time to keep the site running and safe.
If you write to us or use our form, we keep your message and your email address so we can answer you.
If we wrote to your business
We keep:
- your business name and website address, and Google’s reference number for your business listing;
- what your website says about your business: what you do, your contact details, your words and your photos;
- a saved copy and a picture of the page that shows your email address, as proof it was published there;
- the draft site we made for you;
- our email to you, and your reply if you send one.
We use these to decide whether to contact you, to make your draft, and to show, if ever asked, that the law allowed us to write to you.
If you use the contact form on a site we made
The websites we make have a contact form that we run for the business. When you send a message through one, we pass your name, your email address or phone number and your message straight to that business, and we keep a copy for 30 days in case it doesn’t arrive. We use it for nothing else.
How long we keep it
Your draft is deleted after 30 days unless you buy it. The record of where we found your email address, and our email to you, are kept for three years after our last email to you, because anti-spam laws ask us to be able to prove it. If you ask us to stop, we keep only your email address on our do-not-contact list, for good, so we never write again. If we never hear back, everything else we made from your website (its words and the pictures of it) is deleted six months after our email.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts our sites and holds what you send through our forms until we collect it.
- Google provides the business listings we search. We send Google a place and a kind of business, never your details.
- Anthropic provides the AI model that reads your public website and drafts the words for your new site.
- Microsoft carries our emails.
- Resend delivers the messages sent through the contact forms on sites we make.
- Stripe handles payments if you buy a site. We never see your card number.
Your choices
You can ask what we have about you or your business, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or stop our emails. Write to us and we’ll do it promptly.
