revampthis Look at my site

Questions and answers

The things owners ask us most, answered plainly. If yours isn’t here, write to us.

Is this a scam?
It’s a fair question, because plenty of scams look like this. Here’s how to tell: our email comes from an address ending in @revampthis.com, and your draft has a dark bar across the top naming your business and the website we made it from. We never ask for a password, and you never pay before you’ve seen your new site and said yes. Our first email has no payment link. If you’re not interested, ignore it or reply “no thanks”. How to check it’s really us.
Where did you get my email address?
From your own website. We only write to an address a business has published there for people to contact it, and we keep a note of the page we found it on. More about why you got an email.
What does it cost?
$499 once for your new site. Add-ons, if you want them, are $74 each: hosting with us (a year), changes later (an hour), setting up your web address, or an extra page. Prices in Canadian dollars. In the US? See US prices. You see your new site before you pay anything. What’s included.
Are there any other costs?
Only your web address: its yearly fee goes to the company it’s registered with, not to us, whether we set it up or you already have one. Everything else is in the price, and add-ons are only if you ask for them.
What do I have to do?
Very little. Your draft is already made when you hear from us. Reply with anything you’d change, and when it’s right, pay. Then it’s yours: we hand you the files, or put it live for you.
Do you use AI?
Yes. Software does much of the work, including an AI model that reads your website and drafts the words for the new one. It only uses what your site already says. A person checks every draft before anyone sees it.
Can I change things before I pay?
Yes. Tell us what you’d like changed, like the colors, a photo, or a sentence, and we’ll send you an updated draft. Two rounds of changes are included.
How long does it take?
The draft is already done: that’s what our email links to. Changes usually take a few days, and the site can go live within a week of your yes.
Can I update it myself later?
There’s no login to edit it yourself: the site is plain files. Anyone who builds websites can change them, or we can, at $74 an hour, and we tell you how long first.
What happens to my old site?
Nothing until you say so. When the new one goes live on your web address, the old one comes off. Your email settings stay as they are.
Do you build online stores?
No. We make sites that tell people what you do and how to reach you. If you sell online, a store platform will serve you better.
Will you use my photos?
Only the ones already on your website, and only in your private draft until you say yes. If any of them aren’t yours to use, tell us and we’ll swap them.
Who owns the site?
You do, once it’s paid for. We hand you all its files.
Do I need my own web address?
If you have one, the new site can go live on it. If you don’t, we can set one up for you in your name, for $74.
Will my email keep working?
Yes. If we put your site live, we only point your web address at it, and we leave your email settings alone.
Do I have to host it with you?
No. The site is yours to put wherever you like. If you’d rather not deal with it, hosting with us is $74 a year: we put it live and keep it running. Stop any time by writing to us: your site stays up for 30 days after that, and we send you its files.
I already pay for my website somewhere. What happens to that?
Nothing, until your new site goes live on your web address. After that, your old site plan isn’t needed any more, unless your email runs through it: then keep that part, and we leave your email alone. Cancelling the old plan is up to you; we never touch your account there.
What if I don’t want it?
Reply “no thanks” or “stop”, or use our stop page, and we’ll never write to you again. Either way, your draft is deleted after 30 days.
