revampthis Look at my site

How it works

The short version: software does the slow parts, people do the careful parts, and you see your new site before you pay anything.

How we find businesses

We look through Google’s business listings, one city and one kind of business at a time, and pick out businesses whose website looks out of date. From Google we keep only the reference number for each listing. Everything else we know about a business comes from its own website.

What we look at

Our software visits the site the way a visitor would, on a computer and on a phone. It notes plain things anyone can check: whether the page fits a phone, whether it has a padlock, how old the year at the bottom is, and whether it loads at all. If a site is in good shape, we leave that business alone.

How the new site is made

If a site could use help, the software reads the business’s own pages: what they do and for whom, their hours, phone number, photos and logo. From that it drafts a new site in one of our designs. It only uses what the site says. If something is missing, it leaves it out rather than make it up.

Then we look it over

Every draft is checked before anyone sees it: the words, the photos, and how it looks on a phone. Anything wrong gets fixed, or the draft gets thrown away.

One short email

We write once, to the address published on the business’s own website, with a private link to the draft. The link isn’t listed anywhere, search engines can’t see it, and it stops working after 30 days. Anyone who isn’t interested can reply “no thanks” and we won’t write again.

If you like it

Reply and tell us. We make the changes you’d like (two rounds are included), then you pay and the site is yours, with all its files.

After that

That’s it: no monthly fee. If you’d like, we can also host it for you, set up your web address, add a page or make changes later, at $59 each.
